VARIOUS - Lyres of Sammakovi - CD+BOOK

2010, Publication of a book with a CD by KEPEM (Center for Research and Promotion of National Music), featuring sounds from lyres of Eastern Thrace.

It contains recordings by Simon Karas from 1958 and 1964 in Komotini, featuring two lyre players from Sammakovi: Haralambos Menidis and Giorgis Gore.
The publication also includes texts and unpublished records on the history, language, customs, music, the lyre and lyre players, dance, and traditional costume of Sammakovi.
